The very best of luck in your editing enterprise. I have self-published several books. Both I and my wife are English teachers and my daughter is in publishing (sort of). So with their help I managed to self-edit not too badly. But when you have written something you know what it is you're trying to say. The reader doesn't necessarily know what you're saying, so some form of editing is imperative.
I am sure there are lots of "writers" out there in LMH and seeing your book come together is really rewarding.

Thanks! You're right, what might seem perfectly clear to you can be confusing to the reader. Plus, these days readers are often self-appointed critics and are quick to comment online about irritating typos etc. Like holidaymakers, they are more likely to complain than praise, unfortunately!
