I think it's a scam.

Ditto, but it could be worth it to reply just to definitely find out if she is indeed a scammer.....

In my view it is worth a careful reply. Last year I received an enquiry through my website for our apartment in a naturist village from a name which sounded a bit made up asking whether my villa was available. I thought it could be a scam but it ended up as a 2 week booking.

Even when I think its a scam I always reply. Just asking a simple question about number, dates etc. I have found that by replying, if its a scam, you never hear from them again.

Mmmm..., Have you told her you're unavailable Sandra? She's just enquired about our cottage in Donegal for the same week.

I had the same message and the same thoughts (scam).

I replied saying available and price as listed on the site (bookcottages.com)

I've heard nothing since.

Got a reply from Christina “it’s okay. Please get back to me with the price. Thanks”.

Must be standard reply she’s sending out because it doesn’t match up with the email I sent. At least we know it’s a scam with multiple owners being contacted and I also got the enquiry via Bookcottages.com.
