HomeAway: extra guests prices

I had a problem this week with one of HomeAway's "quotations" whereby they added prices for extra guests.
We only charge for extra guests in low season; that is, effectively, we only give discount for smaller parties in low season and price high season on the basis of full capacity.
However, in their wisdom, and for no discernible reason, HA added the extra guest price to the high season quotation, something that was queried by the customer.
When I explained it was an error, and tried to remove it, I found that all I could do was knock the addition off the base price, so that it would be 'correct' when the extra guests were added back in. The customer took a little convincing that this was legit, but in the end he booked.
Don't you just love HA?!!
