Evaluating and selling a Chalet Business in France

Post by AlpsApartments »

Hi
just wondering what the best methods are for evaluating and selling a UK registered chalet business in France?

What are the requirements and implications?

Also is it worth considering registering the business in France beforehand, then look at evaluation as a French registered business, not a UK one, post Brexit?

Thanks in advance

As most of us here aren't looking to sell, and are therefore not up to speed with the ever changing tax implications of selling a business in France, it might be worth you speaking to an estate agent such as Leggett Immo who deal with a lot of Brits looking to buy property in France. They, or someone similiar will probably be more on the ball regarding the ins and outs of evaluating a business, and whether a UK or French company would be more attractive to prospective buyers.
