Casasantoestevo, thanks for this. The new legislation says you only fall within the "linked travel arrangements" if you
. offer your guests an extra service from another source
and
. your guest pays for it within 24 hours of their original payment to you.

I give my guests information on local services and provide names and telephone numbers, but certainly not within 24 hours of their payment. The legislation is aimed at agents who organise and sell holidays from 3rd parties. I wonder where this leaves the likes of OD, HA Abnb..... ?

The UK has added something new to the legislation, like if you phone for a taxi or you reserve an event for them. It is then that the UK law kicks in.
The EU regulations cover the likes of travel agents and websites that make up a bundle.
