Longer term rentals in France?

Hello, just wondering whether any of you rent out your accommodation for a few months in Winter? There is a couple on a Fecebook forum searching for a rental from October to mid-June in or around Nantes, whilst working at the hospital there. Can anyone help? I am way too far away for them.
