I had a person ring me yesterday trying to book a weekend in June. She was most put out when I told her that the earliest that we expect to be able to let again is 4 July. '...but it's a cottage.'

There is a sense that she is right, with the correct procedures, I don't see much reason why now is worse than then. On the other hand I was surprised that she didn't know what was going on.

I would suggest you don't want her as a guest if she really doesn't know what's going on - she isn't going to help you one iota with keeping your place clean/disinfected.
