We've just received an invoice from Sykes for roughly £3,500 - after waiting on the phone for nearly an hour and finally speaking to someone they cant tell us what its for either.
We also raised the issue that the last few months emails have gone unresponded to - someone looked into it and they said they had some data protection breach and that all of our emails had been sent to the data protection team and had sat there unanswered! They said they had called us to tell us about the breach but we didnt receive any call from them.
Anyone else heard about / been called about this breach? Anyone else had strange invoices? I know Sykes are having problems but this is crazy!
Strange invoice from Sykes - plus data protection breach?

Yet another unsatisfactory explanation (some sort of a data breach) from a company that is operating on an unsatisfactory basis in other areas at the moment.
A phone call is not sufficient if your data has been breached, you should receive information in writing about, but not limited to, what has happened, what the risk is to you and who you can contact for further information.
