Whoops.... this'll cost 'em
You mean a holiday rental website owner pretending to be a competitors holiday rental website owner pretending to be a happy customer recommending a website knowing he would get found out by forum readers as a holiday rental owner promoting his holiday rental website thus calling his or her honesty and integrity into question as someone holiday rental owners would want to advertise withashtondav wrote:Could it be a double bluff?

Nostalgia isn't what it used to be
Had a call from Mr Kieron Thomas of Discovery Villas last night, in the middle of my dinner.
He was very keen to sort this all out and establish the truth which is that some person unknown has been plugging his listing site with the intention of being mistaken for the owner posing as a satisfied customer.
I said to him, what about the fact that there is a page on the internet linking to his website, with his contact name and the same hotmail address as was used to register on Lay My Hat? Here is the page: http://www.caingram.info/Accommodation_ ... tional.htm
"We don't use any hotmail addresses" he said.
How amazing then that this morning the hotmail address on that page has changed to his standard company email (although a Google search for the address still brings up that page).
The fake 'kessa' must have tapped my phone, or perhaps he was in the room, hiding under the Christmas tree, heard what we were talking about, and quickly changed it himself to make Kieron look bad.
There is a certain irony to the topic of this thread.
