AVG anti-virus: OK or not?

The place to discuss anything to do with computers, software, hardware, no matter how basic or technical. We all use this stuff, but we don't always understand it!

I had UK Wanadoo through a USB modem , I never had to install the software. When I switched to a router, I just called them and they gave me the settings for the router.

Hi Bob,
thanks for the advice on the router - Alan recommended that model as well, and it seems a very good price from the link you gave. I'll probably be in touch!
