Alamo car rental

Post by orchidvilla »

Be warned if you rent a car through Alamo they are not including brakedown cover and are offering you it for $4 per day yet their web site clearly states you get it free.
I have made formal complaint to Alamo and awaite a responce and will post when i get it..

Dear Orchidvilla,

From your first 2 posts you do not seem to be a happy bunny.

That's a shame, cos life is sooo short.

Hi Robert.....i work for a brakedown and recovery company as a manager and although its a job that takes me on the road all hours i can say i have a job where i meet diffrent people in need of help and enjoy it very much its a great feeling to know someone has called up for help and you turn up and mostly get them mobile again so yes i enjoy life, i just dont like it when someone blatantly rips you off and want to try and warn others if i can so they dont.....

your right though...lifes too short...but hey...helping others gives me a buzz

Hi Malcolm,

Isn't our language funny.

In the UK we call it breakdown. 'As in broken down'

Also, you would look in the boot to get the jack, and under the bonnet to check the engine.

I believe you Americans call it something else.

"Two nations divided by a common language"
