Skating - or ice hockey - or football - or is it tennis - no it must be golf. Damn, these Swedes are good!

Just you and me here tonight Robert? Glad to see you've got a pool now, we're trying to sort ours out for this summer too, is yours in yet - or like ours, still on order! Is that a Mirage pool?

Slightly off topic! Maybe this should be a pm......

Try this site for world wide http://decoder.americom.com/ + the states and this is a good one to find out where the guest is from in the UK http://www.ukphoneinfo.com/section/tci/locator.shtml

Kathy - This is your thread - you do what you like with it!

It is very quiet here tonight, must be something on telly!

We actually decided to leave it one more year before putting a pool in.
Then lo & behold, this one came up on Anglo-Info Brittany. Very reasonable too, at a fraction of even the promo prices. Couldn't resist it, and an easy way to    test the water.

I have my own mini digger here (great for gardening), so I can landscape around it, & we plan to put in a lot of raised decking as well. We have started this week, but even here, with our own 'micro-climate' the weather has been too iffy to continue. Hope to have it in by the end of next week though.

It is an Abak, seems very good quality.

Thanks Centime, another couple of very useful links :D

Robert, we bought ours on ebay  Should be arriving next week, it looks a bit like yours and we're going to cover the sides with wood, we've got sloping ground to put it on so will be a bit more of a problem

Planned excavation is just after Easter and that gives us just a 5-week window in which to dig it in, landscape the area and build some sort of decking. We're also at the same time going to fit a staircase from the balcony down to the garden - oh and build a pool house to take all the pool accessories - heat pump, automatic dosing equpt etc! We're actually only booked to be over there for 2 weeks so it's going to be another 'hard labour' holiday!!

Your guest comments are looking good by the way!

Kathy,

Thanks for your comments re the 'guests comments.'

Like you, it was our first year and a bit scary - will they/won't they like it. So it was nice to be able to repeat, word for word, the guests comments.
Best of luck with the pool, I thought I was working on a tight schedule, and I am here full time!

Let me know how you get on - I can lend you a sheep or 2 to help with the grass cutting
