I don't use firefox and I had the highlight problem yesterday. Today the highlighting has gone and I can see what I'm typing. I can assure you that I did not alter anything in my browser as basically I dont have the foggiest what that was all about.
That makes 2 of us overboard :?
[maybe JC altered it....]

Im glad youve benefitted from the advice found on this forum...so have I  ...and hopefully forumers will carry on generously giving good advice to people who are ready to hear it  :)

I still have the white text issue, and therefore it must be google toolbar, which I activated, but don't even have open anymore. I see as JC has removed her link, she does not want us to comment. If you read this JC, I am sorry you were not able to accept our constructive criticism. If you change your mind, please come back and join us.

Posting from work today, and I don't have the highlighted box problem, but it is still not easy to read. A paler background and dark text would be much easier.

Garri wrote:I knew I recognised that scene in the main photo on 'welcome'. It's where they shot the now famous 'Hovis' ad. There's nothing about that in the blurb. You'd think that would be a selling point.
They have included it in their keywords though, if you look view the page source.

Pity she never stayed around long enough to explain that if we wanted more info then all we needed to do is scour the source code ;-)

oh dear, oh dear...

what's all this stuff about ATF, then Garri? (no need to answer 8) !!) There was lil 'ol moi thinking it was just four blummin' boxes that even I might be able to set up one of these distant days with humble HTML. Daydreams, daydreams....

Sorry to resurrect such an old thread but has anyone seen the Travel section today's Guardian ? (Saturday, August 04, 2007)

I guess the Updown Cottage lady is having the last laugh since she's got nearly half a page editorial on page 4, with lovely big picture of the cottage ;-)

http://www.guardian.co.uk/travel/2007/a ... day.hotels

Interestingly, she's changed the text colour for the input fields on her form - they now show up in Firefox!

Oh well Helen, sometimes it takes a bit longer to kick in perhaps.

Not that I wish to be uncharitable.....
