I know Partridge has had it as well. I did try to reply asking her to be more precise about dates (changing the comma to a dot as I assume thatw as a mistake) but haven't heard anything back.

Also, as she came via my website I couldn't work out what details she wanted. I hope I haven;t just given somebody my own e-mail address, as I get enough spam as it is.

looks odd to me.
She has put two first names down instead of her surname but it may just be that her English isn't great.
The telephone number is wrong but again it may be innocent as she has not dropped the leading "0" from her number after the 0049. "069" is Frankfurt and the number is an ordinary landline not a premium rate number.
We get a load of German enquiries and the ones who try to use English can be confusing. Wait for a reply and take it from there.

I had exactly the same e-mail!
I am on the Costa-de-la-Luz as well so it could be genuine and she is looking in that area.
I assumed her English wasn't very good.
Mine came via by website as well - got all excited as it was the 1st enquiry we have ever had through our website!

I had this one too, what weeks was she after with you? I did reply but it seemed a bit fishy to me and I haven't carried on with it. She was interested in 4-18 August for me..but only because that is the only weeks I have free, she wanted just one week.

At the stage I was at, I thought it might be genuine but if others have had enquiries for other weeks, it can't be....

Interesting....anyone else got anywhere down the route with this one....?

Also when I said I preferred bookings of two weeks and it was rather early in the season to consider a one week booking, she came back to me and offered me 250 euro over my usual one week price....

that def. smelled fishy to me...I like my house but it's not THAT GREAT....to be offered 250 above the normal peak price....

Did she tell you her cousin lives in Chiclana and is interested in the house? Well our house is in chiclana, so why would someone want to spend that much money to go to someone else's house when they already live there....

I have politely declined the offer, I have enquiries now for the two week block that was available anyway now..

That's an interesting thought. Funny to enquire with 4 people on LMH in one particular area. Especially as we all have links to our websites in our signature - my enquiry came through my website. I wonder what the game is here?
Haven't had a follow up e-mail and if I did I think I would just say we are booked. It is defintiely fishy!
