I've offered him credit cards or direct payment into some running-away bank deposit account of Mrs G's which has got just enough in it to fill the car.
And although I think the general opinion is that it is a scam, this one, for us at least, is a touch more convincing than the run-of-the-mill Nigerian God squad stuff.
More news as it develops. Surname is Stone, PC, and clean on Google.

This came through on www.ineurope.co.uk which usually gives the smallest detail on ISP / what they stuck in Google / what they had for lunch etc. but in fact was just the raw yahoo.co.uk source on Gmail, so will ask them for further info.
