Macromedia Contribute 3

Post by Alan Knighting »

I think someone is looking for an alternative to Dreamweaver MX.

Contribute 3 may be a possibility. I know nothing about it but at $79 it is certainly a lot cheaper.

yes, I thought about suggesting Contribute too. It's a 'layout' type editer (wysiwyg) and pretty straight forward to use.

Thing is it's only aimed at people who will be editing the 'content' of a site already developed with Dreamweaver. As far as i'm aware the headers, menu's, footers and style can't be set up or altered (though i'm only familiar with versions 1 & 2)

It's ideal if you've had a site 'template' designed for you, then you can simply 'update' the text and images as required.
