You must have paid more attention than me Bagpuss, I spent more time standing outside the classroom than in it!

Hated French with a passion. Unfortunately my kids seem to be following suit. Schools here are now under pressure to make 50% of kids choose a language for GCSE. They havn't been able to persuade my 14 year old, he would rather do any other subject than French or German.

Edit: just read it through again, there are a lot of 'english' words in there aren't there?

 Not really Kip..I spent most of the time behind the French text book reading a good juicy novel!
In the scam post..I just guessed the rest of the text as soon as 7000 euros and WESTERN UNION was mentioned.

On this note I have to make a separate thread about Western Union as I think the scams which are run via their service is unjustly giving them a bad name.

Bagpuss,

I have seen so many scams with WU mentioned that I would definitely not touch WU now. As you say, perhaps they are getting a bad press.

Will read your new thread with interest.
