Stupid me! forgot to take phone no.

No, they aren't case sensitive, so that's not the solution. Paolo's advice is good, try sending again tomorrow. I had one email bounce today to someone who works for a very large well known corporation with whom I have had numerous email exchanges, yet today it bounced for no reason. I'm learning that email is not foolproof, and trying to remember to ask for two methods of contact, usually phone and email.

Good Luck!

Hi Ruth,
I sent out an e mail for someone wanting a booking. They had sounded very interested on the phone. They never got back.I assumed they had changed their mind.1 week later phone call to say she had never recieved e mail and was there a problem.
So don't give up hope.If they are keen they will hopefully ring back

I had a similar situation a few months ago, an e-mail from my website. I replied but it bounced back, I phoned but the number wasn't recognised, so gave up.

About 3 weeks later I got a very polite call out of the blue: "I wonder if there's some problem with your e-mail but.........." and that turned into a 2 week booking.

So don't give up yet. And perhaps Paolo has found a solution by now, anyway.

Ouch Kip! I do feel for you.

Is he in the UK?

as a long shot - do a search on skype under his name (he may have an account) or do you know where he lives vaguely...if so you can search on name and town under various online searches.
Or try - friends re-united! You never know!

I do hope he gets in contact if all else fails.

Thanks everyone for all the ideas.

Unfortunately I still havn't been able to get the email out to him.

Hopefully it may dawn on him that I have no other way of contacting him and he will call back.

Lesson well and truly learnt.

Just a final thought, is his mail server bouncing your email address because it doesn't like it? I;ve had this trouble recently.

Sorry Not sure what you mean? :? I have sent several other emails today, they seem to be ok.

Anyway why wouldn't his server like me? I've done nothing to upset it.

Oh - I've had this problem too!

AOL doesn't like my server and is currently bouncing back any email I try and send to my friends on an AOL address.

I'm attempting to get them together (my server and the AOL server) over a cuppa and a piece of chocolate cake...see if we can't sort something out

Hi Ruth

If you want someone to try and contact him from a different address to see if it is a problem with your email/his server etc, I can try for you if you like. PM me if you would like me to give it a go.
