No luck with Robsif either, Thanks for trying.

I'm going to call it a day now and hope he calls me back.

Feeling a bit guilty about wasting your time because of my stupid mistake.

Thanks for all your help. You are all stars. :D

Do the rest of you use a standard enquiry form? I guess being and anally retentive accountant, I set up a form in our first year and it does us from initial enquiry through to the return of the deposit after the holiday. This ensures that you don't miss any information on first contact, particularly the "how did you find us?".

Delightful cottage John - but being a bit anally retentive too, I was keen to see the enquiry form and can't find it on your website. Goat moment? :?

My website enquiry form is being constantly spammed at the moment. I have set up a filter which is catching most of it, but I'm still worried I'll miss something important.

Hi Ruth

This is a long shot but worth a try....
You say he saw your property on HR.
Chances are he will go back to the site when he dos'nt receive an e-mail from you.
Try leaving him brief "Could Mr xxxxx please phone me" message .You could tuck it somewhere like under the pricing table in the box for owners comments. Just leave it for a day or so and then wipe it off again. Worth a try ?

Thanks Donna,

I have put a message for him next to my contact details, but I'm worrying now that I may get people ringing me pretending to be him... There are some odd people about.

What do you think. Should I leave it there?

PHONE NUMBER

Post by Donna P »

I think you will be OK. On my pages , my number is there for all to see and , as yet, I hav'nt received any crank calls. You can test anyone who rings by asking for the dates he were interested in. Only he will know that.

Let me know how you get on
Good luck...!

I agree...I would put something...just in case he sees it! Maybe don't put his name? Just say you recently had a clerical error and if someone called on whatever-date and did not receive an expected email, please contact you (?) That way, you will recognize the name if he calls and weed out everyone else who might?
Good luck!

RESULT!!!!!

My mystery man contacted me again today through the HL site.

I had a 'T' instead of a 'P'. Problem solved.

He was very good about it and blamed himself for not leaving his number??? How nice is he?

Thanks everyone. ***stars**** all round.
