Don't be carried away into thinking that news organisation are picking up on this...I wrote the press release and issued it using one of the online press release sites. These have different levels of delivery for your press release, including a free one.

I occasionally write a press release because they are (probably) a good way to get some attention and traffic to your site. Anyone can write and submit a press release about anything at all, including your rental property. If you stuff the release with your keywords, you may get found by potential renters in the search engines. Put a few links to your site in the release and you'll hopefully get some people clicking through.

The site I have used is prweb.com, but I think there are many to choose from.

I forgot - welcome to the forum, Terry!

Terry is a web designer who specialises in vacation rental owner's sites. His site is well worth looking at. It's a good resource of information and tips for us owners, and I think we can also learn from the engaging, friendly tone of voice on it. Although it is a commercial site, it's more like talking to a friend.
