Winter revamp.

Post by Hells Bells »

I have started to change my site back to it's winter clothing. So far all I have done is change around a few photos, and changed the text on the apartment page to a bulleted list. Anway what do you think so far, and is there anything I can change. I am stuck with the colour and template for the time being, due to my customised calendar which will need recustomising (considering ditching the customisation when I change my website next, but I do get some nice extra features). Text, photos etc can all be altered though.

Or is it the order they are in? I don't think I've altered them since last winter, so the page order is probably not right for this version.

Not an option unfortunately, I don't think, but I will try and tidy it up a bit, it does look a bit out of line, and it didn't used to be. As i have to do it manually for every link, I only got round to doing th home page

Hi Helen

Just had a very quick skim over, will try and look in more detail later. Only things I notice are on the menu, one of the menu headings has a full stop at the end and also you have used & and in one place 'and'. Also maybe standardise your capitals and lower case for the headings as a couple of the second words have caps for first letter and a couple lower case.

Thats all for now, you have some lovely photos I really need to sort mine out when I go in November! :D

Mel took the interior pics for me, I've got more up to date ones with throws and pictures, but they aren't as good. Hubby took the outdoor ones on his 3 megapixel Olympus.

Maybe I should hire your hubby to take some pics for me :D

When are you going over this winter? I have just been looking at flights etc for us to get booked up with dates we want.

We're over 28th October to sort the place out for the winter, then Christmas/New Year, and the first week of March. Maybe around the end of season if I can get the time, but we usually have a family comes around then for a short break.

I've checked all the titles (and made them all the same I hope!). Let me know if I've missed any. I removed the full stop from the menu bar, and reduced the no of page links at the foot of the page so it looks better. I will add the rest, in the right order later.

Link repaired, and while I was doing it, some nice guests have added a comment to my guest book.
