Jimbo, I guess a need a more than a couple of people to disagree with me before I change my mind. So on that note, okay, you're all right :) No.5 is misleading, so I'll rewrite it to be more about privacy and space as suggested by kendalcottages. Thanks kendalcottages!

No problem. I'm glad you can now see the point I was making... and thanks Nemo, Jimbo and Windy (or should that be Windo...? ;)) for adding 'weight' to what I was trying to say. :)

No I think it should be "Wimdo" actually to get the best of us all. That's either two or three characters each which seems entirely fair.

I thought as I had received some very nice comments about my blog from members of the forum - I would post it here.
It has been updated with two new entries showing some of the wonderful resident wildlife we share our buildings with...and some more of the jewels left to us by our predecessors.

Hi Victoriac

Glad that we inspired you - I'm really enjoying working on my blog now.

I like your blog, chatty and informative and the pictures are good. Helps that we visited Bansko this year so it all seems very familiar!

Keep up the good work!

Hi Katz,
Thanks for the encouragement!
I've been reading yours too - we're thinking about buying something in Italy so I might be starting my own 'search' soon so I'll need all the tips I can get! :D

No problem :)

Not sure all of my tips will be useful to you for a search in Italy but hopefully our house hunting experiences will give you some food for thought 8)

This blog started off about buying a house, then renting it out, as is now a bit of all my life thrown in! It's surprising how many guests read it , probably because the title is the same as our rental address. I'm very, very careful these days what I say!
