Particularly easy to get people to alter their plans slightly if they aren't relying on flights, or if they haven't already booked them, I filled all my gaps in peak bookings with flexible arrivals last winter, and much of this summer by doing just that. I rarely reply with 'no sorry we are full' now, even if I do it by email.

Swallowing two large gins first will probably help even more :o . It's probably sod's law, but most of two week enquiries for the July/August school holidays tend to come in in June. Have I got the bottle to wait that long ???????

June is a bit close to July/Aug for comfort, so it depends on whether you thrive on a 'seat of the pants' approach to life Christine!
