newbie website
WOW ! That laptop must be burning.
Sorry don't have time right now to look in detail, but that's looking like a "real website". Very impressed with your progress.

Wow, that's terrific, that must be the best $45 you have spent
My only comments now are purely personal:
I'm not sure a 'Site Map' is needed
There are a couple of typos
I'm not sure why you need 2 maps, have you thought of using a link to Google maps, which will give you zoom & route facilities

That's a huge improvement I - love the colours. My only suggestion is that although you have a gallery and a lot of ohotos I would still like some on the pages that describe the property. So when I am reading about the salon etc there is an image alongside.
Well done though - that's coming along very nicely

Yes, it seems the secret's out - $45 very well spent
You're right, perhaps I don't need 2 maps. I do indeed link to Google, using Lat & Long for the house so people can get a route - but I send them that after they've booked.
I could link the map to google - that'll be my next job.
My husband and I thought we'd caught all the typos - we'll have to have another good read tonight.
Site Map was suggested to help the search engines index all the pages, so I'll probably leave it.
Then, tomorrow, there's the French pages.....aarrgghh! And there won't be typos - just terrible French
Thanks for all your help everyone - I can see it was worth the effort, and I'm glad I was brave enough to put the site here

Thanks everyone for your help. I've done as much as I'm going to do for now, although I know the French section still needs some work.
It's back to the day job now, but again, thanks for all your suggestions

You can easily generate an xml site map using sites like this.
http://www.xml-sitemaps.com
You can then submit it to Google sing their webmaster tools stuff.

Just to be controversial for a second...
I wouldn't bother with a site map. It's only really worth it if you have a lot of pages and/or your navigation makes it hard for Google to crawl all the pages.
Your site map file is also supposed to hint at how often you want your site to be indexed, but I've never seen this really have an effect. Google sets the index interval according to how often your site is updated.
So I'd suggest leaving the sitemap for now. What does anyone else think?

Carol, I know you say you've done enough (and I don't blame you!) I think it might be worth pointing something out still.
I think you ought to summarise the accommodation on the home page. For instance, I think you need to specify sleeps XX and XX number of bathrooms/showers.
I know the information is there, but you have to search for it.
I'd also like to see bigger pictures.
And a very small point, but I found the photo gallery confusing. You refer at one point to 'galleries' and another point to 'photos'. It took me a bit of toggling back and forward to realise they were the same.
I wouldn't have thought any of that was a major overhaul.
Sorry I didn't comment before, but for some odd reason I can't always get into this particular thread.
It's still a nice site - good luck with the bookings.
