Anybody else with an interest in Austria?

Post by Austria »

Hi I'm a newbie  and would be interested to know whether anybody else has a property in Austria?

I know that Margaret is just over the border in Bavaria / Germany, but is there anyone else in or around the area?

I await with interest.

We get a lot of guests who have 'done' Austria or split their holiday between us and Austria.

Austria - Bavaria/Germany

Post by Austria »

Thanks Margaret,

If anybody is looking for a two centre holiday and looking for a week in Germany / Bavaria and a week in Austria your place could just be the thing for them, we may even come and stay our selves!

Is there any particular publicity / advertising web sites that you would recommend to attract the German speaking customers?

Kind regards.

Derek

Our German guests all find us through the local tourist sites. I have tried the big German sites but they have been useless.

I'll look at your site and see if there are possibilities there - we come down your way fairly often anyway.

We have a member called Kersh with an apartment too Derek - in Bad Gastein. Don't know if he looks in often, but why not send him a PM?

Hi Derek,

I recall Margaret flagged up happyholiday.ch as a site targeting Swiss punters - I don't think she was recommending it in particular, though, more asking for opinions. Worth a look, perhaps?

Hi Derek,

Yep, i'm in Bad Gastein. Thanks for the e-mail by the way. I've sent you one back.

Giddy Goat, i'm still alive. I've been preparing for the arrival of our first baby .... less than 4 weeks now! We're all ready though so i'm looking forward to it.

Cheers

Time flies Kersh and I'm glad all's still going well. Good luck with the birth of the future skier! :D

Hi Derek.

We have a studio apartment just up the road from you in Maria Alm.
This is our 3rd season in Austria and as long as the snow continues to fall, hopfully our best yet - the last week has seen a few welcome enquiries after quite a lull.

How's your season going?

Hi Derek,

We're in Slovenia and have two property locations; one near Bled and close to the Julian Alps, the other in the Soca valley.

We're still new to all this, but maybe we could offer a two centre solution?

Regards,
Ralph

Perhaps we could at least set up a regional topic for those in Bavaria, Austria and Slovenia?

A three centre touring holiday, perhaps out of season sounds very good, it is certainly a nice part of the world.

Kind regards
