Hi all :)

Im not sure this is in the right bit and Im sure we must have covered this before but I cant find it at the mo :oops: .

Just would like to know the school summer holiday dates in the UK.
Im a bit out of it now :) and I know there was talk about school holiday dates being different for different counties.
Just had an enquiry for end Aug early Sept.......
My reply to them,will depend on when the school summer holidays finish.

Hi, around my area (Berkshire) they go back on the 3rd September 2009. Other areas may differ. Look at a local school website and it should tell you.

Sorry, no info on other countries terms. Good luck with the search.

Yes, most English schools will go back on 2nd or 3rd September 2009. I would be surprised, (unless Scotland), if any went back in August (teachers' contracts and all the rest.)

Big Sis, our (UK) prices go back down on Friday 4 September having done extensive research across most regions including a number of private schools

These are the 2009/2010 dates for our local authority.

I usually use these, then add a week on either side to cater for the independent schools.
