Very very cheap peak week!!!

This is a classic - had a phone call today from a lady who said 'I want to book two weeks in July please' Hurrah! Untill she goes on to say 'I see the monthly rental is £575 so does that mean I have to halve it for the fortnight rate?' !!!!! When I pointed out that the £575 was for one week, peak season, she exclaimed 'well thats very expensive'! There were five of them . . . . .

Harcourt, I randomly picked Holiday-Rentals, and went to the home page search.

Left the destination empty, selected 1st week in August, sleeps 4+ and maximum price £150.

It returned 1,416 properties to select from.

e-Richard - I tried the same criteria (well, £151 max) and got 1,383 properties, but although the low-season price might be less than £150, the high-season, say August, was nowhere near.

It looks as though the HR search engine needs a tweak.

I would have said that was per person & multiplied it by 5 for her party.
