Lots of hits but not many enquiries!

Post by Bellywobble »

I would be grateful if some of you could take a look at my ads as I'm getting lots of hits but not many enquiries and am wondering if there is something very off putting that I'm missing!

I haven't any bookings at all for June which is worrying me, so would welcome any advice. Thanks.

PS. Sorry, I haven't mastered the art of posting links!

Hi Marina :) Your place is Lovely !!and the websites look fine to me:D
Maybe June flights are expensive, it used to be a really sticky month for me as well, but this year its not,I think its since Ryanair flies into both Alicante and Murcia.

Also, as you deal with large family bookings, maybe in these sort of times, its less likely that a large group can all afford to holiday. One or more of them might have Job worries.I had a few cancellations because of that.

Hope things pick up and June gets booked

Take carex

Marina, your website looks great ........ and I certainly know it is lovely as I visited! I don't think you could make a better job of selling it. I agree with Big Sis, June is not a family time for bookings. The only thing I can think of is maybe writing a note on the website to say you are happy to take small groups in June at a bigger discount?

Fingers crossed you will get filled. Good luck!

Many thanks to you both for taking the time to have a look. Very much appreciated!

I'm just glad to hear that there isn't something glaring that I've missed.

I think air con would help and I know we've lost a couple of bookings through not having it, but it's just not in the budget unfortunately and the other problem is being up a hill. I can't change that though!

Taking smaller parties is a good point and something worth considering. I'm not to sure how to target them as I think we only come up in searches for larger parties. Worth looking into though.

Thanks again.

June is always one of my difficult months too - because we also take large numbers, but I'm lucky in that I can split mine into two and take a single house booking.
I am afraid I can't run to aircon either because my leccy bills are horrendous.

My June 09 bookings are from Homelidays, BW, and some of them are with children in tow - maybe different holidays for different countries ?

Your site looks great and so do the properties.
