The Holiday Let .com

Post by sarahp »

Ive just listed for one year for FREE on this website - early days as Ive only done it today, but I just want to say how great the people there are - constant emails advising the best way to list and giving me updates as to how its looking (and the fact that I thought I'd uploaded my pictures when I hadnt!).
Anyway, like I said its early days, I found out about them via Twitter and after a few messages they have featured my listing on their front page - good eh :P
I will let everyone know how much response I get from the listing.
Sarah.

There have been other threads on theholidaylet.com. I listed with them free for a year several months ago and they are incredibly helpful. However, unfortunately I've never had even one enquiry from them. I won't be paying to list.

Me too, LV. Such a pity because it is a super site. Obviously just not getting the SEO right.

It's only £30 a year, why not pay to list that way you would be boosting their morale and providing them with some much needed resources to improve visibility etc.

They're obviously not fly-by nights and have a good attitude.

Note: I have no connection with THL, I just really like the look and feel of their site

Is that all it is? I hadn't checked. In that case I might, none of the big sites seem to be working for me anymore :( at least THL is a worthy cause.

Has anyone had any enquiries/bookings yet via theholidaylet?

I really wanted this site to work after all the effort its founders put in.

I had a look at this site and found my property there :o
Must have added it some time ago and obviously not had any enquiries - shame because it does look a nice site.

I registered with them in December 2009 and haven't had any enquiries either.

My stats look good but the times on the click throughs to my website are always the early hours of the morning?!

I really like the look and feel of the site too and would like it to work.

So has anyone had enquiries or bookings from them?
