End of season - for good!
Well, nearly end of season. This year that will be the end of September and also our last season as we are moving out of this rental after that into a small, temporary rental till we (hopefully) buy a little place of our own next year. My OH said he couldn't face another winter in this house. It was...

Ouvrier and TDS
Hi all,
First time we've had an ouvrier (workman) stay on business for a couple of nights, do we charge TDS?
Not worried about the actual cost but want to get the facture right!
Thanks.

We are only seasonal because there is no heating in the rooms we rent out (we are renting this property) so we just close off that part of the house for winter! It won't affect us anyway as we are moving house in October, so this is our last season. The idea was just to make a bit of money to help p...

We get nearly all of our guests through B.com, who don't take tds but do notify the guest that it is payable. We just collect it at the end of their stay. It usually only equates to a euro or two, as it's mostly one or two night stays at 50 cents a night per adult, and I have sometimes forgotten to ...

As a chambres d'hotes wwe don't charge a damage deposit. Last week we had guests for one night and only found after they had departed that someone had wet the bed - luckily a bunk bed, not the superking bed, and it had two mattress covers. i would have appreciated being informed (accidents happen) r...
