Paypal phishing email
I just had an email from paypal@ e.paypal.fr asking me to make some accept some changes to the account by logging in to www paypal dot fr I don't have an account which uses the email address they used, so, being a suspicious sort of person, I went to the real PayPal site to check the address, which ...

Well, I started your book last night and read (according to Kindle) 7% before I fell asleep! Obviously good for something, then! Perhaps I'll market it as a sedative. TC Oh, TC - I didn't mean that as it sounded! I read in bed until I fall asleep, and 7% of your book in one go is quite a bit! I do ...

Many thanks to all those who have 'liked' me back - the number is creeping up! I don't check for who has 'liked' me, to return the favour - I just 'like' everybody! Having gone through the list when I joined, I find it easy to go back to the list every couple of weeks to catch up - it only takes a c...

This clause in HL's terms and conditions makes the whole process of a commission only based transaction null and void. HL are acting (they say) as a payment agent only and the contract is between the holidaymaker and the property owner. A payment agent is unable to dictate the terms and conditions ...

Re: HL commission advertising
There are so many threads relating to HL, mostly negative issues, I am not sure if this has been already covered. Having left HL a few weeks ago due to all these well documented problems, I have just received an invitation to rejoin them on their commission based system. I have no intention of doin...

I read it that the guests' email address would disappear, as in the commission only model, but if they will still be there, then I'm relieved. I don't use inbox to reply. I log in there and extract the email address, and reply directly to the enquiry that way from gmail. Phew! panic over for the mom...

HL subscribers
I pay HL using their subscription model, I'm not using BM and I'm not using the commission-only model. I received an email today that tells me the only way I can contact an enquirer is through their internal email system. Here's the text: We're currently making some changes to improve the way that e...
