Hi I am attempting to register my gite for a SIRET using the online form https://www.autoentrepreneur.urssaf.fr/portail/accueil/creer-mon-auto-entreprise.html - at the Domaine d'activité : section I should be selecting: "immobilier, hebergement et services aux touristes"? Just wanted to ch...

is this a scam - Wade Denman
Hi This might be me - but this smacks of a scam - don't know why - but maybe it is the number of weeks required or that he has changed his dates. Originally he wanted 4 weeks from the beginning of March - but gite is not available - so I told via email that it was not available - now he has sent fol...

Gite in France - tax situation
Hi, We own a gite in the Loire Valley and this year we have started to rent it out a bit. Before next year I want to make sure that i pay the correct tax - I am based in the UK and most of the income will come from UK based tourists. My assumption is that I need to declare it in France - but how? Th...

French Connections renewal offer
Hi,
I tried French Connections for 6 months this year, as they offered me a good deal - I got exactly zero enquiries - all my bookings came via Chez Nous.
(Izzy) Maitland has just offered me 15 months for price of 12, as well as a discount. But not going to both as seems pointless.

Apologies
Hi Apologies - I meant to respond back to this subject. So I will leave extra bedding for those clients staying more than a week. Still not sure about a mid stay clean - suspect I will not do that - or may say that there is an optional mid week 50 euro cleaning available. What do people do about toi...

Providing Towels / Linen halfway through rental
Hi, In my price I include linen / towels. When people stay for more than one week, I am not sure whether to provide a 2nd set of towels / linen for the 2nd week. What do other people do? If I did decide to offer towels / linen for the 2nd week, I as thinking about saying that if they wanted them put...

Thanks
Hi,
Ok - I will raise a ticket with PMP cause it will not allow me to add photos!
I like the look of disqus - you seem to get a lot of comments - how do you do that?
By the way - like the blog!
Thanks Mark

PMP Blog
Hi
@Rosie - want did you think of the blog that PMP are implementing? To be honest I find it a bit rubbish as you can not add any photos or do stuff like i have seen other blogs do.

Owners Direct - any discounts available?
Hi, I advertise in a few places for my gite in the Loire Valley - for example Chez Nous - where I am getting a number of enquiries & have 6 weeks booked. Someone has suggested that I use OD and select the European version so I get visitors from France etc. Questions: 1. Is it worth using OD? 2. ...
