Tax implications donating weekend to charity
Tax implications donating weekend to charity
We are about to donate a weekend in low season for a charity auction. Does anyone know what the tax implications are (we are not a business). Is it personal use (in which case we 'charge' ourselves a cost for the tax man), commercial use and if so at what rate or is there a way we can make it a donation in kind?

If you really want to get complicated over this you could claim it as a charitable donation (at it's true value) and get tax relief.goosie wrote:We are about to donate a weekend in low season for a charity auction.
