bed and breakfast room letting in Catalunya

The law was finalised last year to allow the let of individual rooms for tourist use in Catalunya. It was passed over to individual municipalities to set up the control system and registration. For their part the city of Barcelona slapped a lid in things but it seemed that other places were enthusiastic. Nothing seems to have moved forward in my own town of Palamos. Has anybody any knowledge or experience of what is happening in other parts of Catalunya. We don't now do apartment rentals but we still have a couple of rooms that could be rented out. I tried to get some info from our tourist office but they don't seem to have set things in motion yet.
