I received the email below from a Brian Williams today telling me that for a fee I can be included in www. persistent.com , tagline isThe Internet's Premium Website Directory


www. persistent.com ( deliberate gap after the www. ) has a google page rank of 0, and no current entries for France or Languedoc.

Why would I pay them to be in an empty directory when I can do reasonably well with google search (who are rather well known and used by quite a few people ) for nothing ?

I can't decide if he is a conman hoping that one in a thousand of his spam mails will get an order or he is just stupid. Either way the name and contact details of the domain name are hidden.
