Received the enquiry below just now through Holiday Lettings.
We advertise an apartment in the South of France.

Wondering if anyone else has come across Andrew ?

Andrew C. + scam in Google shows him to be reasonably active.

I like the combination of business/church, though, that's new.

Mountain Goat- Thank you for the welcome and for your speedy reply :)

I had only found one association linking the name to a Middle East financial scam so thanks for confirming my suspicions.

As a corollary, I also contacted Holiday Lettings. Initially they said that there was nothing unusual about the email, however in a second email today someone else from HL confirmed that it was a scam and that they will be blocking any further emails from the account.
