creepy referrals

Post scam emails to warn other rental owners, or if you are not sure if an enquiry is genuine, put it up here and see what others think.

creepy referrals

Post by Titti »

through Google alerts or through the referring sites which are found in our website stats I find portion of my website in these weird pages

http://otoku-money.info/dzni/jsppp.php? ... ng-classes

anybody knows what's this about? It's not really a scam inquiry, but must be some other scam.

I don't know of anything you can do about it unfortunately, it's a Chinese site.

They harvest content from other pages to make that page relevant for something, it's a bit annoying but harmless as far as I can see.

More sinister is when you see referrals from porn sites - I had a few occurrences of this a couple of years ago. I clicked on the link in the referrals section of my stats page half expecting to see a box with a photo of my cottages and a link back to my site sitting somewhere amongst the naked women !

I've still no idea how the referrals appeared in my stats.
