Is it a scam??

Post scam emails to warn other rental owners, or if you are not sure if an enquiry is genuine, put it up here and see what others think.

Is it a scam??

Post by Casa Montana »

Hi,

Hope everyone's all well.

Had an enquiry through spain-holidaydotcom enquiriing if we do 6 month to a yr rentals. -

'Hello Carl,

I was wondering whether or not you lease this apartment out for a longer time period (say 6 months to a year)?

Thank you for your time,
Mimi'

Telephone number after popping it into google seems to be a reverse charge call number which is registered in Florida.

I'm thinking steer well clear for obvious reasons. Any thoughts?

Thanks

Carl

Could easily be genuine: none of the usual warning signs as far as I can see. The reverse charge number might be to help you - they might be an agent looking for something for a client.
I would email them with whatever deal you might be prepared to offer and see what comes back. Actually, before offering a deal I would be inclined to ask for how many people!
