This post has confused me! The opening sentence is structured just like some of the scam e-mails we get, bad english etc. I've looked up Cotters other posts and they are perfectly legible and well structured so either he/she had been on the demon drink or typed so quickly then never checked, or it's not from the person we think it's from. Mysterious. :D

Sorry I was in such a mess, when I did a Google search on this IP 66.142.134.209 and it came up with this.

Spam Harvester

The reason I checked the IP was because it showed up on my website analysis that the IP had been looking at my website 70 over the last two days.

I really need some help to tell me what to do to stop this Spam Harvester.

All websites with any search engine exposure are visited by spam harvesters intent on collecting e-mail addresses from the internet. As long as that's all they are doing (i.e., not trying to hack you or overload your servers), and as long as you either do not publish any e-mail addresses on your website or protect the ones you do publish, it's nothing to worry about.

70 hits in 2 days doesn't seem like a lot to me; these bots are automated, so it's not like there's a person sitting at a computer somewhere typing in your address 35 times a day. You should see how many visits LMH gets! Just make sure you don't have any new web pages showing up, and that your code hasn't changed to add links to some Russian website hawking Cialis knockoffs. :) You probably don't, though; spam harvesting is not the same thing as hacking.

Thank you so much I feel a lot better now. I do not have an email address on my website it is in code. When you are small fish in a big ocean you think 70 is loads and I did get a shock. Thanks again
