I have so much to tell you all but not enough time! Needless to say - we're in. First Saturday c/o done.

Hiccups with boiler, parking, keys, hoovers, grumpy guest - check

Lovely guests, kids happy, dog really happy, key triumphs, figuring it out on my own and asking for help - check. Locals welcoming - so far so good.

Going to bed aching all over, knackered but happy - check!!!

Everything needs doing but it's all OK and bearable for now. Plus the owners flat has a real 70's vibe which suits me and my cheese plants.

I've also thrown lots of things away and plan on continuing to do so.

Dusty fake flower arrangements in plastic pots binned so far (and I'm being prudent as I've nothing to replace them with) = 4.
Flying by the seat of my pants.

Sounds brilliant I wish I was 20-years younger I'd be doing the same as you are (but then I wouldn't know what I was doing and would get into a right old mess probably).

Enjoy yourself and make some money at the same time - what's not to like!

Well done TGS; it's a lovely business to be in (most of the time). When people love your property and tell you they've enjoyed their stay, you'll have a little warm glow. There may come times when you get a less warm feeling but generally if you get it right, and I'm sure you do, it's very rewarding.

Hi TGS

We were in West Bay last Sunday and walked along the front but couldn't remember which block of properties you had taken on. The properties around yours have so much potential I am sure you have a great opportunity in your hands.

West Bay is our closest beach (our property is near Sherborne) it is a treat for us to go to Rachael's and have some nice seafood. I wish you great success.
