(do they teach this response in sales school for dummies, as it’s always the response I get from pushy sales people)

My response was I wasn’t interested in wasting my advertising budget and hung up…..then they tried to ring back!

If this is really a bonafide Company its run in a very disturbing way.....

Must be the Lagos day as I got one yesterday too for the villa, husband thought it was an enquiry so passed it on to me as I was up to my elbows in vacuum cleaning, as husbands do. She was really surprised that I did not want to know AGAIN - 3rd cold call here in Lisbon, even had 2 when I was back home in Scotland in August LAST year. Don't these people give up !

Judging by the last 3 posts, this thread is finito!

However just for the record I was approached by FT&L last year and have to admit was taken in enough, even though I was put off by their "persistence", to post my details on their website (I didn't think to check with LMH!). However I got totally cold feet as it simply didn't ring true. I told them to drop me, within their cool off period, which surprisingly they appear to have honoured!

I've paid nothing, however a year later I still appear on their website. What's their game I wonder? Using 1/2 way decent places (no promo here!) to further their cause and give them credibility I assume, or they are just too dumb to remove me. Checking my stats I've had 23 hits on my site from FT&L so far this year but no enquiries. Ex coppers presumably prefer Marbella or Benidorm where their ex mates reside!
