Santa Pilar and the "puentes"

Post by costa-brava »

Is anybody getting any bookings for the Santa Pilar puente (Monday 12 October this year)? I have my availability open for 2 day bookings but I'm not even getting a nibble at the worm.
This little extra bit comes from Spanish guests and it's not a lot but helps to pay the adverts for next year.
Habits are changing and I think lots of people are into day tripping or going Ryanair to other European cities. We used to get a little buzz of biz in the October break.

Pretty much booked but didn't feel there was high demand.

Just got my first booking for 2 nights from a French couple. It's a Spanish holiday weekend! The world is perverse.

October is pretty good for me and I do have guests arriving this Saturday for 11 nights covering the public holiday, but again I doubt if they are aware of that as they are German. The guests from Germany, Denmark and the Netherlands are a blessing because they really appreciate a holiday out of the main tourist season. I have not yet had a single enquiry from Spanish holidaymakers let alone a booking.
