Thanks Ian. One of my top tips I got from Aggie & Kim (How clean is your house?) which is to heat up a cup of water in the microwave until it is boiling. This losens the grot which flies around the oven when you get explosive soup or beans. I have a cover for putting over dishes for the microwave but does anyone at the cottage ever use it? No!

Mind, how anyone can let their flithy houses be shown on TV is beyond me. Dad has dementia and doesn't clean up but even his house is like a place compared to some of them.
