Daughter took a call for us the other day - gent sounding distinctly Asian (or maybe Nigerian, she's not too hot on accents yet) but volunteering a name that was more British than British, and wanting to buy our property; when told it wasn't for sale, he quickly said "OK, I would like to rent it". She asked for his phone number so that I could call him back, but he rang off.
The next evening someone else called, giving the same spiel. Since we were recently relieved of BP934 via a PayPal scam, later reimbursed, perhaps our email address is being circulated around the same internet caf......
Has anyone else been phoned in this way?
