This made me laugh out loud.

It's all set in a beautiful blue box with the Halifax logo. But if my Halifax manager had such a poor command of English gramamr I'd change to Nationwide (assuming I had a Halifax account in the first place).

This has baffled me for some time. It's pretty obvious that whoever is behind these scam e-mails has fraudulent intentions,is it not possible to trace them and take the appropriate action ?

I think it happens quite quickly - innocent punter signs back into dud site with personal security details, scammer immediately logs in to their genuine account and does a nippy transfer.

Halifax abuse would immmediately try and close the fake site, but probably based in Albania and might take a while.

Forwarding these (with headers) back to the bank can help them if you've got time, but you'd probably be one of 500 doing the same thing.

That's the way I see it.

"Nationwide" are at it now. We've just been away for the weekend and I came back to find 7 from this scammer. To be honest I didn't bother to look at it this time, just clicked delete 7 times.

Though it might have given me another laugh.
