This is a new one, isn't it?

Post scam emails to warn other rental owners, or if you are not sure if an enquiry is genuine, put it up here and see what others think.

My only question is: how have you avoided getting any of these before? :) I could not count the number of this type which we get every day. Lucky you!

Well normally Margaret I am inundated with a different kind. When I was away overnight I last week I came back to 246 spam e-mails telling me various ways I could enhance my sexual pleasure. Some of them are quite lewd (I don't open them but my e-mail browser gives me a synopsis at the bottom of the screen). I wish I could get rid of those ones. They do go into my spam box, but I can't ignore that box because very often legitimate e-mail finds its way in there as well - in fact, for some reason, all apartment enquiries that come directly from my site end up in there.

At least this one made me laugh!

I have won so many millions on these e-mail lotteries that I'm surprised they still have money to hand out to the rest of you!

Obviously, this holiday rental lark is just an amusement for me - something to distract me when I tire of the endless round of Caribbean cruises, island-buying and flying to my pad on the Seychelles in my private jet.

Most spam filters allow you to specify particular email addresses which should not be considered to be spam. Could you add your site to this list?

Yeas, I need to devote some time to sorting this out.
