Yesterday and again this morning, (and using IE) I was being diverted to LMH.com, a site selling hats and thought Paolo had fogotten to extend registration of the domain name, I thought we may have lost this brill forum for good.
Went out this afternoon and logging on is now (obviously) no longer a problem - Phew !

I have not been able to access here for 2 days, I thought it was linked to that other virus thread. After I had cleared the cookies (thank you lmh member who made me investigate cookies) from the register site I have eventually been able to view this site.
I tried Mozilla, IE, and the orange log in thing what ever that is,
not a lot of help for those who may still not be here,

Youre right Helen Ive had quite a few contact me.....Can Brooke get access?? I dont think Ive seen her posting??and Paolo of course!!There are still quite a few poor souls suffering from withdrawal symptoms as they can't get back in. It isn't a browser problem, and apparently the domain has now been renewed. Any suggestions for these poor souls?
I think it's the way the DNS servers work and are updated. Basically, it's a huge database that resolves all the web addresses to particular physical computers. But it's spread amongst many, many computers and so updates take a while to filter through the whole network.
Be patient and all will be back to normal.
