RR has just e mailed me to say she can't access LMH via AOL now, let alone Firefox, so she can't post on this thread again for the moment, or any other, come to that :( unless IE7 works of course...

There are still quite a few poor souls suffering from withdrawal symptoms as they can't get back in. It isn't a browser problem, and apparently the domain has now been renewed. Any suggestions for these poor souls?

That's how I managed too Ros, clearing the browser cache didn't work. Let's hope the others figure out how to do it soon!

Yesterday and again this morning, (and using IE) I was being diverted to LMH.com, a site selling hats and thought Paolo had fogotten to extend registration of the domain name, I thought we may have lost this brill forum for good.
Went out this afternoon and logging on is now (obviously) no longer a problem - Phew !

I have not been able to access here for 2 days, I thought it was linked to that other virus thread. After I had cleared the cookies (thank you lmh member who made me investigate cookies) from the register site I have eventually been able to view this site.

I tried Mozilla, IE, and the orange log in thing what ever that is,

not a lot of help for those who may still not be here,

I think it's the way the DNS servers work and are updated. Basically, it's a huge database that resolves all the web addresses to particular physical computers. But it's spread amongst many, many computers and so updates take a while to filter through the whole network.

Be patient and all will be back to normal.

Totally coincidentally, once the domain had been renewed, there was a problem at the data centre. I have no doubt Paolo will update when he is able to.
