It converts them in a couple of minutes until N.America wakes up, and then it can take 20 mins or so to get the link back. Hope it works!

Wordpress Training (UK)

Pootlepress' training day looks good, and I'm going to give it a try on June 6th in London. Mini-LMH meetup? He's doing Cheltenham and Edinburgh as well. I find I can put sites together, but with half-a-dozen meaty questions on each result - this guy looks as though he knows what he's talking about...

Sorry about going on about Groupon; their cookery school deal finished with over 2,000 bookings - a cool £72k's worth, even at half-price.

Elcarmoli, that's a nice site. Is it really WordPress, and was it a freebie?

Our most frequent route is between London and Geneva; EasyJet always looks cheaper. But you have to pay for check-in baggage and paying with a card (how else?) and you're only allowed one carry-on bag. That's assuming you've fought your way unscathed through their hard-sell on travel insurance, car ...

There are dozens of local Groupons, not just UK towns - the French deals are interesting as well.

Would Groupon be suitable for property rental? I guess not, as they seem to go for max. number of punters, not surprisingly. They have had inclusive holidays though.

I've tried one or two Groupon deals (film-making, visiting an English vineyard, sky-diving) and they're good value at 50% but I can't see the market at full price.

Sort of relevant, there's a current UK Groupon 1/2 price deal for a cookery school here (will probably expire soon). The Angela Malik school is apparently well-known in West London and there's a lot more information on their links to reviews etc. I'm going on the Thai course, so will report back. MG...

Apologies, GG - 45 mins was in my mind from your previous post. I'll pay attention and give a constructive answer later.

Walking to/from the airfield would be perfect, though.....

Is it a French thing?

It makes nonsense of any automatic transaction, as punter can't establish contact with a credit-card-payment-acceptance-robot and the ccpar can't send him/her a confirmation. Nuts.

SagePay problem with credit card transaction

Long shot, but to cut a long story short, we use SagePay and Streamline to process our Sterling credit card payments. A French customer made a failed transaction for £495 (report from SagePay) back at the beginning of April. We didn't get credited from SagePay (logical) but the customer had €570 ded...

I may be wrong, but I still think the attraction for visiting pilots is accommodation on the doorstep, unless they are contemplating a long stay.

I'm researching the airfields mentioned above.

Stuart Jordan or Jordan Stuart - he can't make his mind up

Classic overpayment scam via Gmail - might be of interest. I rather like the non-cleaning pregnant wife request - I've replied saying that the previous guests, from Lagos, will probably be leaving the property in chaos, and could he do the cleaning while his wife relaxes with a G & T? Thanks a l...
