We went for mainly the synthetic filled pillows and a couple of extra feather ones for each bedroom. Synthetic pillows still keeping their puffiness?? after 2 seasons. The feather ones don't seem to be used that often so still smell of feathers still, could be the reason why they don't get used!! (a...

If you are going with King of Cotton (we did), do not go for their cheapest fitted double sheets. Ours have gone all bobbly?? Also, their cheapest housewife pillow cases are a bit on the tight side. We ordered our pillows from them and its a tight squeeze getting the pillow cases on if you are going...

For 2008 we were offered a discount and an advert on the German site too with photos. This year for the same thing they want £141 extra, it's more than doubl...

Has anyone actually done a home exchange?

Hello

Been toying with the idea of doing a home exchange for next year. Has anyone on here had experience of exchanging? Did you exchange your home you live in or your rental property? If you exchange your home, do you have to clear things like the wardrobes, kids toys etc?

We've had the usual books, magazines and pool inflatables. When I was last at the house, there were t towels and a few pillowcases that definately were not ours, think that's more to do with the laundry than guests!! What do you expect your cleaner to clean on a changeover?

Hello

Just wanted to see what others are doing, such as, do your cleaners pull out furniture such as sofas etc and clean underneath them? How often do insides of kitchen cabinets get cleaned and that sort of thing.

Thanks

I've just responded saying we need full balance and completed booking form before we give out detailed directions etc. For some reason this enquiry feels wrong, gut instinct or just me being completely paranoid!! Anyway best to be safe rather than sorry. Lets see if he replys! Thanks for your commen...

I agree, great ideas :D Really like the toiletries idea, will have to borrow that one  I did spend most of my 6 days at our house last week, going around with a "flash eraser" in my hand. I'm so sad I actually found it quite satisfying to see the marks disappear  I really need ...
