I've just had an Indian lady call me from Exotic Holiday Rentals telling me she had guests lined up to fill all my dates for October, November, December and wanting me to pay 280€ per year to list on their website after about 15 minutes of sales pitch. I said I wouldn't pay that for a well establish...

Hi I've had real problems with my cleaning fee on Booking.com, all variations on a theme. It's been a constant cycle of submitting a tweak, waiting for it to appear on my listing, tweaking again, waiting again, and so on. The best thing I can suggest is to speak with someone personally on their team...

From what I've read on LMH and having checked out their 'how to' videos I really like the look of Freetobook and FabPay although I thi...

Link to own website on Major Listing Sites i.e TA, HA etc

I'm currently building my PMP website and have seen previous posts about owners monitoring traffic coming through from the big guns (TA, HA etc) to their own sites but of course now I need that information I can't find it! So, apologies in advance if I am asking something that is readily available o...

That's VERY interesting. I would be delighted if we could do that but I've not been able to find anything that explicitly states that it's possible. Here is the French Embassy in London's take on French Rental income for UK citizens. http://www.ambafrance-uk.org/FAQ-Rental-income-from-France#FURNISH...

Thanks for replying, much appreciated. However, I'm still confused..... If you are under micro-bic regime then I'm assuming you are French resident? Are you saying that both the options you mention below are available to UK residents? I thought UK residents only had one option: to pay a flat rate of...

Hi everyone I haven't posted on here before but regularly read all the great information arising from the discussions. However, something on this thread has puzzled me so I'd be really grateful for some clarification..... My understanding is that the only tax regime available to a UK resident (for i...
